| Descripción: | Picture taken on the 20th January 2007 near Santa Fe Montseny, Barcelona, on horizontal schists, silicious, in a sunny place close the road, 1200 m. altitude. It is a Mediterranean lichen. In Catalonia it grows on silicious rocks mainly in the littoral range of mountains, Maresma, Montseny, Serra Verdera, Cap de Creus. Saxicolous, silicious, foliose lichen, adherent to the substrate, thallus yellow-green, with a lot of isidia, initially of globular form, later on becoming cylindrical in its form. Apothecia, scarce, less frequent than in Parmelia somloensis. Thallus and medulla K+ yellow, C-, KC- Medulla P+ orange It resists certain pollution. Armand Tomás Vidal Nikon Coolpix 4.500.
