| Descripción: | Picture taken near Corredor Sanctuary. Linars del Vallés, Barcelona, on granitic soil, aprox. 400 m. altitude, under Quecus ilex. Holarctic distribution, relatively common. In Catalonia, it has been mentioned at Els Ports, Vall d'Aran and El Corredor. Foliose lichen, big, it arrives up to 30 cms in diameter, big and large lobes, up to 4 cms wide. Upper part of the thallus grey-brown to dark grey when wet. Thallus thin, membranous, showing postules and veins, pubescent, without isidia. Down side, white, with single rhizina, colour white, long, very marked veins of dark colour, flat or convex. Apothecia rare, at least at Corredor.
