Descripción: Picture taken on the 9th April 2007 at "Gorges du Segre" near Bains de Llo, Llo, Oryental Pyrenees, France, on siliceous rocks, East exposure, 75 º, in a water-track, rocks richs in iron, 1.380 m. altitude. Very scarce. With Lecanora epanora imperfect stage and Acarospora sinoptica.

From upland stages to the Mediterranean area. Not mentioned in the Catalan check-list, It was found by myself on sequoia bark at Santa Fe del Montseny. Common for the rest of Spain. Normally epiphytal, but it can grow on damp rocks.

Saxicolous in the present case, epiphytal too, always in very humid places, floliose thallus, green in wet weather, more brown when dry, flutted squamules with oyster shell form to about 1,5 mm wide, overlapping each other. In the present case, it is posible to see the apothecia, very rare, up to 2 mm, black with grey-pruinose discs. Soralia present.
