Picture taken on the 9th April 2007, at Gorges du Segre, near Bains de Llo, Oriental Pyrenees, France, on calcareous rock, West oriented, vertical surface, 90º, in a small cave (not direct rain), 1380 m. altitude.
Common on calcareous rock. Mentioned at Tarragona´s mountains by P. Navarro-Rosinés, and the Pyrenees: Alinya, Aiguestortes, Nuria, etc.
Saxicolous, on calcareous rocks, thallus bright yellow-orange, narrow lobes,sometimes pruinose. Centre areolate, green-yellow, desappearing when the thallus matures. Soralia present. Apothecia not seen.
