Picture taken on the 6th April 2007 under the rain, at the nearby of Targasonne cimetery, Alta Cerdanya, Oriental Pyrenees,France, Catalonia, on a siliceous rock, very exposed, flat surface, 1650 m. altitude.
It is a common lichen upland in the Pyrenees and Montseny in manured places.
Foliose thallus, large, up to 15 cm diam, brown with green tinge when hydrated, lobes adpressed and with a faint reticulum. Apothecia numerous dark brown. Neofuscelia delisei for those that accept it as a valid species has lighter brown apothecia (coffee and milk colour).
