Picture taken on the 4th November 2007, at Fontromeu, very humid mixed forest of Larix decidua with Pinus uncinata and Picea abies, Oriental Pyrenees, France, 1.600 m. altitude.
Alectoria sarmentosa is a fruticose lichen, prostrate, very pendant, yellow branches, pseudocyphellae presence, branches end blue-black colour.
Cortex sometimes K+ red, Medulla K-, C-, KC- , P- or P+ yellow.
