Picture taken during the summer season 2007, close to a small river, at Quérigut, Ariège, Oriental Pyrenees, France, 1.600 m. altitude, in a zone temporary inundated, hydrophilous.
Very rare, it has been already mentioned by Dra. Pereira and it has been found in the Central Pyrenees (Lerida).

Crustose lichen, thallus thick ,large, well delimitated with a black prothallus. Colour very variable from almost white to green or grey. Frequent apohtecia. Filiform conidia (pycnidiospores).
