Descripción: Picture taken during the summer, at Llo Valley, Llo, Oriental Pyrenees, France, corticolous, nutrient enriched place, close a mountain road, 1300 m. altitude.

Foliose thallus, adpresed, large, grey with dry weather. Lobes palmate, overlapping, white-pruinose, lacking pseudocyphellae. Apothecia frequent, 4 mm diameter, disc brown, covered by a coarse pruina, soredia absent.

"Pycnidia frequent, immersed or in small wats 0.2-0.3 mm diam.; conidia 5-7 x 1 -1.5 mic." ( From Purvis et alter, The Lichen Flora of Great Britain and Ireland, Natural History Museum Publications)
