| Descripción: | Picture taken on the 20th January 2008 near Sant Cristòfol, Montserrat, Catalonia, on a calcareous rock, hard limestone, flat surface, nutrient rich environment. Crustose lichen, thallus white, smothh, areolated. Big apothecia, large, disc almost black. Be careful , possible confusion with Diplotomma epipolia growing on limestone too. See F.
