| Descripción: | Picture taken on the 2/02/2008 near Sant Joan ermitage, above Montserrat abbey, Barcelona, Catalonia, on conglomerates. The species has been already mentioned in Catalonia by Dr. Antonio Gómez Bolea. Rare. Crustose thallus, creamy white , continuous, relatively thick and ridged. Apothecia frequent in warts with large central opening. Large spores compared to Thelotrema suecicum, similar in form but only found in Scandinavia. See very good picture in F.
