| Descripción: | Picture taken on the 16th March 2008 near Plana Novella, Garraf mountains, Olivella, Barcelona, on hard limestone, close the road, almost vertical position, shaded place.. Although rare in general, it is frequently found in calcaoreous rocks in Catalonia. Crustose lichen, lacking prothallus, white to pale grey. Apothecia sessile, in shallow pits, in clusters, more crowded that in Clauzadea monticola, more than 1 mm large, from dark brown to black, no pruina. See F. Dobson, Lichens, pag. 147.
