Pictuere taken on the 6th April 2008 the way to Sant Jeroni, Montserrat, on conglomerates with calcareous cement and soil.
Toninia sedifolia is a very variable species, very common in Catalonia. Toninia genus is complicate but it is necessary to be familiar with the different forms of the same species and the only way to do that is with plenty of time devoted to field work.
In this case, Squamarina cartilaginea is full of apothecia.
