Picture taken at Latour de Carol, France, Oriental Pyrenees, facing l'Oratoire, large thallus with the central part distroying, 1.100 m altitude, very inclinated surface, frequent in place. on siliceous rock.
New lichen for Catalonia, but mentioned in Spain, liking high altitudes, probably confused with P. conspersa.
Foliose lichen, concentric growing, with very large thallus, tree colours appear white, green and almost black. Medulla P-, K-, C-, thallus with no soredia or isidia, down part white in some places.
In this place there are very large thallus, the zone is very rich in lichens.
