| Descripción: | Picture taken on the 10th May 2008 at Parc de la Pedra Tosca, les Preses, Garrotxa, Girona, Catalonia, on a wall made of volcanic rocks, in certain places protected from the direct rain. Thallus greenish grey and certain white patches. Granules variable in size. They erode and the hyphae give a leprose appearance. It is similar to Lepararia isidiata. TLC is necessary to give a 100 % certainty to a determination and it is still pending in this case. According to Dr. Sipman, Pictures of Aegean Lichens (available in internet): Lepraria lobificans: TLC, atranorin, rocellic, stictic acids.
