Picture taken on the 24th May 2008 at Egat, Oriental Pyrenees, Northern Catalonia, France, on decorticated decaying wood of conifers.
Thallus thin and white. Apothecia lirellate, they start with an oval form and they end with a lirellate form 2 x 0,3 mm., the colour of the apothecia changes from brown to black when mature. They are arranged in a parallel form giving it the name to the species.
Very common in the Pyrenees on decorticated decaying wood of conifers.
