    <description><![CDATA[Picture taken on the 12th January 2007 at Can Camins, Prat de Llobregat, Barcelona, Catalonia, on twigs, in a zone of dunes close to the coast. It is a species very frequent in the Mediterranean area normally on dry bark forming large patches.

It is not a beautiful lichen, it looks like a leprose skin but it is a common lichen sometimes overlooked.

Thallus mauve-grey, very thin, cracked and developing patches of soredia with a green colour and giving in some cases a leprose appearance. No apothecia seen
