The tiny Cetraria cucullata, colour green in the photograph, is an scarce lichen in Catalonia, only mentioned at Vall d'Aran and P.N. Aiguestortes and for the first time at Montseny Mountain. It appears associated to Physcia caesia, Diploschistes muscorum at left and other lichens Acarospora contorta ssp.hHoffmanniana, Rhizocarpon geographicum, etc
Cetraria cucullata is an alpine lichen for the first time mentioned at Montseny mountain. Branches green, up to 4 mms wide, channelled, tubular, margins incurved.
