Descripción: Picture taken on the third of March 2007, at Pla d'Arços, Santa Fe Montseny,Barcelona,on a silicious rock, close to a river in a place temporary inundated, with Ionaspis lacustris and Verrucaria sp.

Bacidina inundata is a common lichen, although it is necessary to look for it. Holarctic distribution, Europe and North America. In Europe from the Northern countries to the mediterranean area. In Catalonia it has been mentioned at Brull and Montseny. It appears in Galizia, Asturias, etc.

Saxicolous, sometimes corticolous, crustose thallus, grey with green tones, granulous, areolate. Lecanorine apothecia, very variable in colour and form. They start almost yellow, red after, then brown and even black. In the picture you have different colours.The thalline margin starts very defined and thick and it ends disappering in certain cases. Disc from flat to very convex.

Sensitive to pollution.
