Common lichen,saxicolous, termophilous, ombrophilous, frequent in the Meditrerranean area. Mentioned at Medes Iles by Drs. Llimona, Hladun and Gómez. Crustose lichen, thallus areolate, gray,thich with small lecanorine apothecia in the form massiliensis. There is another form called sorediata, with asexual reproduction.
