Descripción: | Picture taken on the 1st July 2007, near Cala Malaret, between Aiguablava and Fornells, Girona, Catalonia, on siliceous rock, granodiorites, vertical position, shady place, 15 m. altitude, close the sea. Not very common; mentioned by Drs Llimona, Hladun and Gómez at Medes Isles as Opegrapha grumulosa. It differs from Opegrapha calcarea because the former is not an areolate lichen and grows on hard chalk rocks. Saxicolous, ombrophilous, thallus not very thick as in the type, white with gray and green colours. Lirellae small compared to the type and without pruina, no soralia.
